Hello Smooth Life, please introduce yourself!
- Smooth life is run by us, Lena Melin and Liv Gisslandi. We have a background from a BA in textile design from Swedish school of textiles and our passion is the illustration. Inspiration comes from animals, fantasy worlds and nature. We love colors and use aquarelles to create unique art for every design project, explains Lena.
- For us, the hand draw feeling is very important, it makes it lively and playful. We work close together and draw everything by hand, says Liv.
Tell us about the wallpaper Climbing
- Climbing is a pattern, with lots of details. Don't be surprised if you explore new animals, flowers, and shapes, every time you look at it, says Liv.

Can you introduce us to the wallpaper "Birds Nest"?
-We wanted to bring the nature indoor, says Lena, - The tree is graphic, simple but with lots of details. The tree is a home for many birds but also another animal, can you see it?
We think the "Birds Nest" are an interesting mix between a painting and a wallpaper. Perfect for those who don't want to do a big color change to a room. See the wallpaper here.
